Asst. Mayor Pro-Tem Andrea Johnson called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm.

2. DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS:

2.aTax Abatement Application: 601 Topaz Drive

Danny Christoffers explained that there was previous communication between himself and the applicant back in December 2024. There was a misunderstanding as a result of that communication whereby the builder believed that the buyer could apply for the abatement and receive the tax abatement immediately. Danny explained that both himself and the Builder have been in contact with the County Assessor and they are permitting a special extension to allow the application to be filed by the builder up to March 31st to be applicable to the upcoming taxes. The applicant requested a special meeting to meet that deadline.

Motion by Ryan Panowicz, seconded by Kirk Moriarty to Approve Tax Abatement Application: 601 Topaz Drive.
