NOTICE OF CONSIDERATION OF A VARIANCE BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT IN SERGEANT BLUFF, IOWA
You are hereby notified that the Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m., on November 5, 2026 in the Sergeant Bluff Council Chambers located at 501 4th Street to hear public comments on a variance request for 507 Wild Plum Way (Parcel# 884731430010, SETTLER'S POINT 1ST LOT 3 & LOT 4 (EX N 50 FT)).
The applicant is Wade Parker. The request is for a variance from Zoning Code 165D.04 FENCES (1)(F)(2): “The maximum height for any fence outside of a required front yard or street side yard setback shall be six feet unless other requirements are stated.”
The applicant is requesting to build an 8-foot fence on the western portion of the rear yard.
All interested persons are urged to comment by agent or attorney, or in writing. If needed questions or comments for the public hearing can be taken by phone at 712-943-4244 during the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
