NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY CITY COUNCIL ON LEASE OF PUBLIC PROPERTY
You are hereby notified that on the 11th day of February 2025, the City Council for the City of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa will hold a public hearing in Council Chambers located at 501 4th Street in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa during the Council’s regular meeting at 5:30 p.m. to review and consider lease of public property for a term of more than three years to the Sergeant Bluff-Luton Community School District for the Indoor Batting Facility, located at 914 E. Topaz Drive in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa. The lease terms would provide for payment of utilities, management and maintenance of the facilities for use by students, community groups and others as authorized.
After the public hearing, the City Council shall consider the proposed lease, and if approved, pass a resolution to authorize completion and execution of the lease. All interested persons are invited to comment, either in person, by agent or attorney, or in writing.
