(SBA) - On Sunday, November 10, 2024, at 2:00pm, you are invited to attend a very special event at the Betty Strong Encounter Center: “Daughters’ Tea.” Bring your granddaughters, daughters, and others to enjoy a unique Victorian Tea party. Admission is free.
The memorable experience will be hosted by Gretchen Gondek and Tracy Bennett. Guests will enjoy delicious tea and taste a variety of savory and sweet delicacies. While guests enjoy the offerings, background music will enhance the experience.
Guests will also be treated to a talk by talented Siouxland Artist Jeanne Emmons who will share information about watercolor painting while she demonstrates the technique. After a long career as an English Professor, Emmons embarked on her watercolor journey. She did not know how obsessed she would become. She admits to becoming intensely absorbed with the medium.
