(SBA) - On June 3rd, veterans from across the area took the Midwest Honor Flight to Washington D.C. to visit memorials dedicated to their service. Upon arrival at the Sioux Gateway Airport, they were greeted by cheering crowds of loved ones, family, friends, supporters and fellow veterans. Several members of the Sergeant Bluff American Legion Post 662 and posts from around Northwest Iowa were in attendance to greet their fellow veterans with flags and salutes as they arrived home.
