On May 26, 2025, American Legion Post 662, along with members of the community, gathered to honor and remember the men and women of the United States military who have passed. The tribute featured a reading of “In Flanders Fields”, a heartfelt rendition of “God Bless America” by Mercedes Waugh, and a performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” by the Sergeant Bluff-Luton Band.
