October 17: 22 Years of Honoring our Children

(SBA) - The Sioux City Public Museum’s upcoming History at High Noon presentations focus on topics ranging from Siouxland neighborhoods to Latina/o history to Native American history. The popular lunchtime photographic program series is held on the third Thursday of the month at 12:05 p.m. at the Sioux City Public Museum. Attendees are invited to bring their own lunches to these free presentations.

October 17: 22 Years of Honoring our Children
Presenter Sun Rose Ironshell will discuss the Annual Memorial March to Honor our Children. The Annual Memorial March was founded in 2002 by Sioux City community members Judy Yellowbank and Frank LaMere to honor Native American children lost to the foster care system, and build bridges in the local community.
