(SBA) - Starting October 1st, 2024, residents of Sergeant Bluff will experience a change in their garbage collection service. Carrier Container Company will take over as the new residential garbage contractor, although this will not affect recycling services.
During the week of September 16th, residents can expect the delivery of new garbage carts. These carts will be easily recognizable, being black with a yellow company logo. Until the end of September, however, residents should continue to use the current carts serviced by Gill Hauling.
Service from Carrier Container Company will start on October 1st. A map detailing the new pickup route will be made available as soon as possible.
