NOTICE OF CONSIDERATION
OF A VARIANCE BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT IN SERGEANT BLUFF, IOWA
     You are hereby notified that the Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m., on July 1, 2024 in the Sergeant Bluff Council Chambers located at 501 4th Street to hear public comments on a variance request for 200 Prairie Lane (Parcel# 884731179001, LOT 30 PIONEER PARK ADDN)
     The applicant is Ben & Dulsey Perkins, the request is for a variance from Zoning Code 165D.04 (F) (3) which states: “On corner lots, a fence built in accordance with the required fifteen-foot setback of the street side yard (See Chapter 165B Zoned District Requirements) may have a maximum height of six feet unless other requirements are stated.”
     The applicant is requesting to have a 6-foot fence built within the required 15-foot setback for a corner lot.
     All interested persons are urged to comment by agent or attorney, or in writing. If needed questions or comments for the public hearing can be taken by phone at 712-943-4244 during the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
     An application can be reviewed upon request at City Hall which is located at 501 4th Street.
