(SBA) - On Friday, July 26th, longtime Fareway employee Darell Bullis turned in his keys to begin a well-deserved retirement. Darell has dedicated over 48 years to Fareway Grocery Stores, working in seven different locations throughout his career. For the past 23 years, he has been a part of the Sergeant Bluff Fareway team, becoming their Meat Department Market Manager in 2021.
When asked what he will miss most about working at Fareway, Darell mentioned that he will miss the conversations with his coworkers and customers. As for his future plans, Darell looks forward to enjoying his freedom, doing what he wants, and spending time with his grandchildren. To his customers, Darell simply says, “Thanks!”
