NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK FOR THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE SERGEANT BLUFF - LUTON CSD EAST CAMPUS – PHASE I
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the Sergeant Bluff – Luton Community School District of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, will meet at Sergeant Bluff Luton Community Schools - 201 Port Neal Road Sergeant Bluff, IA 51054, in the “Art Room.” on October 3, 2024, at 6:00 AM Local Time. At this time and place a hearing will be held on the proposed Scope of Work and estimated of cost for the construction of the Sergeant Bluff - Luton CSD East Campus – Phase I.
Any interested person may appear at said hearing and file objections to the proposed scope of work and estimated costs for said improvements. It is anticipated that bids will be received for aforesaid improvements on the 1st day of October 2024 at 11:00 A.M. If the scope of work and estimated costs for said improvements are adopted following the public hearing, consideration of the bids for the construction of the aforesaid project may be made following said hearing and adoption.
Project Scope: The project consists of General Trades Construction, Civil Trades Construction, Electrical Trades Construction, and other related work indicated in the drawings and specifications.
Project location: 201 Port Neal Road, Sergeant Bluff, IA 51054.
A more detailed description of the kinds and approximate quantities of materials and types of construction for which bids will be received is outlined in the Bidding Documents prepared by SitelogIQ, Inc., which, together with the proposed form of contract, have heretofore been approved by the Board of Directors and will be on file for public examination in the Sergeant Bluff Luton Community Schools- 201 Port Neal Road Sergeant Bluff, IA 51054 weekdays between 8:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M. and are by this reference made part hereof as though fully set out and incorporated herein.
The Architect/Engineer has prepared plans and specifications governing the construction of the proposed improvements. The Scope of Work and the proceedings of the Board of Directors referring to and defining said improvements, are hereby made a part of this Notice and the proposed contract by reference, and the proposed contract shall be executed to comply therewith.
