1.Call to Order
The Special February 18, 2025 meeting of the Sergeant Bluff-Luton Board of Education was called to order by President Jeff Wright at 6:00 a.m.    The meeting was held in the Elementary School Art Room.
2.Approval of the Agenda

3.Action Items
a.Resolution Appointing Paying Agent, Bond Registrar, and Transfer Agent, Approving, the Paying Agent, Bond Registrar and Transfer Agent Agreement and Authorizing the Execution of the Same.
Motion to approve the Resolution Appointing Paying Agent, Bond Registrar, and Transfer Agent, Approving, the Paying Agent, Bond Registrar and Transfer Agent Agreement and Authorizing the Execution of the Same.  Appointing UMB Bank of West Des Moines as the paying agent, bond registrar, and transfer agent for the sales tax bonds.

c.Resolution Authorizing the Terms of Issuance and Providing for and Security the Payment of School Infrastructure Sales, Services and Use Tax Revenue Bonds
Motion for approval of the Resolution Authorizing the Terms of Issuance and Providing for and Security the Payment of School Infrastructure Sales, Services and Use Tax Revenue Bonds.  This is for the issuance of sales tax bonds for $5.5 million for school infrastructure.

d.2025-2026 Staffing Proposal
Motion to approve the addition of a Director of Student Services.  This position has become necessary due to changes at the AEA, as a result of state legislation.

e.6-12 Chromebook Refresh
Mr. Janzen reviewed the 6-12 Chromebook Refresh, with two bids from Sterling for $368,288 and RTI for $391,500.  The tech support team recommended the Sterling  bid due to the lower cost and being the most durable for our needs.
