(SBA) - Hello Sergeant Bluff Schools students, faculty, administrators and residents of Sergeant Bluff. We moved away from Sergeant Bluff due to a job transfer seven years ago, retired two years ago and relocated to Sioux Falls.
Our daughter graduated from SBL and took a great education with her to higher education and post grad. Why? Because of the quality education she received at SBL. We’ve watched from a far as the district has tried and failed to get new buildings for the district.
Updating curriculum is as important as building a new building to enhance the students education. A safe environment for learning is not an option. I’m truly sad to see the voters handcuffing district needs. As a community you need to stand up give your children a safe, quality environment to learn and grow. Give the district the tools to educate your children and new facilities to assist teachers and administrators. You blew it again. How many years will it take for folks to migrate away from Sergeant Bluff to educate their children. VOTE FOR YOUR CHILDREN! ~Mark Pappadackis, Sioux Falls SD
