(SBA) - With more than 150 scholarships available and a high average award, students planning to attend Iowa Lakes Community College can overcome financial obstacles and receive a quality education. For the 2024 Fall term, the Iowa Lakes Community College Foundation awarded 574 scholarships to 342 students, totaling $807,215.25 to date.
The recipients will each receive one or more scholarships with an average per student award of approximately $2814 from 83 scholarship funds funded by community members and businesses.
Iowa Lakes has streamlined the process of applying for financial aid, allowing students and prospective students to easily apply for scholarships online and ensuring access to as many financial resources as possible to support their education.
The Iowa Lakes scholarship application makes students' lives easier by automatically matching applicants with all the scholarships offered through the Iowa Lakes Foundation that they are eligible to receive. Students don't have to spend time searching for the right scholarships because a large portion of the work is completed for them.
