(SBA) - Judith "Judy" McKenna Johnson of Sgt. Bluff, Iowa passed away surrounded by family on Friday, August 9, 2024 in Des Moines, Iowa. Judy was born on March 21, 1959 to Edward and Evelyn McKenna in Sioux City, Iowa. Judy graduated from Westwood HS in 1977 and went on to become a registered nurse specializing in surgical recover.
Judy married Matthew Johnson on August 7, 1982 in Mapleton, Iowa. To this union two children were born, Aaron and Haley. Judy's children brought her great joy, especially when they gifted her with grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her husband Matt. Her son Aaron (Jessica) and children, Justin and Christopher. Her daughter Haley (Spenser) and children, Lakeley, Zoro, and Broly. Sisters: Mary, Kathy, Jean, Joan, and Jane. Brothers: Walt, Jim, and Mike. Sisters-in-law: Debbi, Libbi, and Peggy.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Pat. Parents-in-law George and Janis, and sister-in-law Robbi.
