Who’s on First?

Posted

(SB) – Letitia James, the New York Attorney General who made good on her promise to “Get Trump,” said after he was hit with over a $450-million penalty for a spurious fraud case in NYC: “The art of the deal,” is dubbed “The art of the steal.” She said it with a sneer, showing her true hatred of Trump. Judge Arthur Edgoron, the 74-year-old fan of puns and pop culture, a former cabby with a shock of white hair and a penchant for cracking jokes from the bench, was Letitia’s co-belligerent. Together, they were the closest two-some to Abbott & Costello’s original “Who’s on First.”
Costello: You'll have to tell me their names, and then I'll know who's playing on the team. Abbott:      Oh, I'll tell you their names. Well, let's see, we have on the team, Who's on First, What's on second, I Don't Know is on third…
Costello: That's what I want to find out.
 Abbott: I say Who's on first, What's on second, I Don't Know's on third.
     Costello: Are you the manager?
 Abbott: Yes.
Costello: You gonna be the coach too?
Abbott: Yes.
Costello: And you don't know the fellows' names?
Abbott: Well, I should.
Costello: Well then who's on first?
Abbott: Yes.
Costello: I mean the fellow's name.
Abbott: Who.
     Costello: The guy on first.
Abbott: Who.
     Costello: The first baseman.
Abbott: Who.
     Costello: The guy playing…
Abbott: Who is on first!
Costello: I'm asking YOU who's on first.
Abbott: That's the man's name.
     Costello: That's who's name?
Abbott: Yes.
Costello: Well, go ahead and tell me.
Abbott: That's it.
     Costello: That's who?
Abbott: Yes.
PAUSE
Anyway, hundreds and hundreds of attorneys across America and just as many retired judges shook their collective heads at the proceedings and findings after it was divulged there was no fraudulent activity involved. In fact, witnesses for the prosecution who engaged in financial dealings with Trump in NYC said they all made money – lots of it – and would do business with Trump again.
Meanwhile, in Georgia, another attorney – this one, a County District type – having Trump and 18 others of his followers charged with election interference (2020), is herself undergoing investigation for misconduct stemming from her love affair with fellow prosecutor Nathan Wade. Like all such behind the scene trysts, this one is full of money, expensive vacations, moonlit nights, sex, and skip to my lou my darling. Read up on it yourself because this sort of thing makes me sick.
That leaves Manhattan’s DA Alvin Bragg, and loser Jack Smith hanging in there for their shot at getting Trump.
The DC Democrats love it, the media loves it, the liberals love it, and whatever is on the left loves it. They love anything that is waste of time, and a waste of money. It’s what they live for.
I watched a video recently in which former President Richard Nixon recounted how President Dwight Eisenhower warned of the Military Industrial Complex before he left office. Nixon warned of what he called the Media Industrial Complex. Of the latter, he said, it is dangerous as a result of the people they hire.
     He carried the example further.
Like our government, Nixon went on to explain, things go awry when people of little knowledge, little background, little experience, and little education, are given positions and titles that are well over their heads. They are given power which is beyond them and regretfully use it for all the wrong and misdirected reasons.
You’ve all seen this at some time in your own lives whereas a person with the least qualifications is given a position of power that transform him/her into the wrath of God in the office or company.
That’s what we’re seeing in our country now.
It’s everywhere. Look at our current President. Look at some of the people in our House and Senate. It’s embarrassing. It’s a national disgrace.
The sad thing about all of this is it will continue this way until you do something about it. Are you ready to act? Are you ready to become involved? It’s your call.
