(SB) – “If all men count with you, but none too much.” That’s a line from Rudyard Kipling’s poem, “IF.” Do yourself a favor, read it. In my lifetime, it’s the most prophetic, honest, direct, and truest written lines I’ve ever read. Only the Bible tops it.
That one particular sentence is true now as it has been throughout human history.
Look at our war versus Iran – an evil country run by evil rulers. We went in there, along with Israel, to get rid of an imbecilic government that told us, over and over again, they would obliterate both the Jewish state, and America. Through 47 years, we watched dumb, uneducated ayatollahs spit in our faces as they killed our military service personnel, citizens, bombed our facilities, and sent their suicidal terrorists across the globe to kill, maim, and destroy anyone and everyone who did not think or believe as they did.
(It grieves me to write this, but our current Democrats in Congress remind me of what the ayatollahs of Iran and their goofy followers have done and continue to do. They are about no brains and no sense.)
I have a number of thoughts about the current state of affairs in our war versus the sand people.
President Trump asked our “allies” to help us out. After all, they fully depend on oil passing through the Straits of Hormuz. America doesn’t. So, what do our “allies” tell us? ‘We’ll think about it.’
I’ll be damned!
It cost us, America, 204,004 American service member lives in WWI in good ol’ Europe. We freed the Chinese and SE Asians of the Japanese, and freed all of western Europe from the Nazis at a cost of 670,846 deaths of American military men and women in WWII. Korea: 103,284; and Vietnam: 58,200, This doesn’t count all the other wars we fought as big brothers of fellow human beings who often got themselves in jams they were in and didn’t know how to get out.
England, France, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Russia, Holland, Greece, Italy, the Mideast, the Far East… who else did we help?
I have asked myself in the past: Has any country ever come to our aid, not just in times of war, but also natural disasters (tornadoes, hurricanes, flooding, famine, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, forest fires, blizzards…?)
Well, as of this writing, I am to understand, our ‘allies’ have acquiesced. They’ve told us they’ll do something. I don’t know what. I’ll leave it at that. Maybe we should remember that.
Meanwhile, our one-sided media – always looking to twist and turn facts, and lie – feed us their kind of news of how the sky is falling: high gas prices, how long is the war with Iran going to take, the economy -- none of which was even mentioned during the Biden years when gas went through the roof, inflation hit historic highs -- and Biden whispered “Don’t” to Russia, who laughed as they invaded the Ukraine, and the drug gang leader Maduro who sent ship loads of meth, Fentanyl, and other poisonous drugs across the water to America. China did the same. The media never said a word about the millions of illegal garbage people who streamed across our borders, or of fraud running rampant in Minneapolis and dozens of other lib cities.
The dems stayed silent, too. Heck, why not? They had a nice, sweet, illegal deal going for them. Plenty of money was to be had. Yes, siree, the dems really care about us, don’t they?
You didn’t hear anything from our side because the dems and their media buddies know how to shut down real Americans – you know, the ones like the majority of Americans who work for a living and pay taxes. Yes, YOU., and your next-door neighbor.
How do you like the dems recent shutdown? No pay for TSA (Transportation-Security-Administration) agents at airports and the long lines for lack of personnel present to check bags, luggage, and people… The dems don’t care. (So, to the dems, it’s ok to put people in danger of terrorists, bombs, and weapons, etc.) What they DO care about are all the illegals they want to keep here so they can vote for their sugar daddy dems. It’s also why Chuck Schumer and Company refuse to vote for the Safe Act that would ensure honest elections.
Obvious? Well, to you and me it is. To DC Dems and the Dem Party, cheating is their mantra.
Iran, the D.C. dems (and some Republicans)… they’re a lot alike. Recalcitrant, radical, defiant, intractable, stubborn, greedy, selfish, narrow, vicious, pitiless, inhumane, relentless, tyrannical, ruthless, wicked, heartless, hateful, bitter, spiteful, merciless, boorish, uncouth, and evil.
